How Many Is Too Many?
How many people is the proper number of people to include in your bridal party? Well, the option really is up to you. It is not necessary to have equal numbers on each side, and don't feel like you have to include everyone of your family members either.
When it comes to your wedding party, make sure that the people in your party are who you want them to be. You can have as many or as few as you’d like, just make sure that you have room for them at the ceremony and that you think about them at the reception too. At the ceremony, you have a couple different options; you can fan the bridal party out from your altar or you can have them sit on the front row as a more contemporary look to your wedding. As far as the reception, there are a few different options, but always make sure that you are keeping your bridal party in mind, as they are giving up all this time and doing this for your special day. You have the option of the traditional head table. With this though, you must be careful if your bridal party brings a guest, where to put them on a seating chart; you can let them sit at the head table with their guest or you will need to separate them from their guest. Another option is to have just a sweet heart table for the bride and groom and place your bridal party at the tables close to you with their guests.
No matter what you choose to do, make sure that your choices reflect you and your desires. This day is about you and while you can take other peoples opinions politely, make sure that the final decisions are yours and they are what you want.
